The JMJ-30 chassis is a reproduction of classic circuits that capture the tonal dawning of the British invasion.
Three of the most coveted channels of an era, ready to slide right into your ‘60’s JMI spec Vox AC-30 style head or combo cabinet.
Channels:
Hi and Lo inputs each
“Brilliant”(EF86 pentode) – Volume control & 3 way Tone switch.
“Normal” – Volume control only.
“Top Boost” – Volume, Treble & Bass.
Global high end Cut control and output Power Scaling TM
Power Scaling is proprietary technology developed by Kevin O'Connor at London Power.
Transformers/choke – Mercury Magnetics Haddon ToneClone OT and choke, Heyboer PT.
Resistors – Carbon composition in signal areas, metal oxide in power rails.
Capacitors – Sozo (mustard +) in signal path, mostly Sprague Atoms and F&T electrolytics.
Tubes – 4xEL84, 3x12AX7, 1xEF86, 1xGZ34
Preamp circuitry built upon RS tagstrips as they were back in the day.
Meticulous 100% hand wired construction.
Each chassis comes equipped with a slider board, ready to install into your case (case provided by you).
